Is this is a good or bad idea on a 2001 zetec zx3 (ATX). Is there any real gain when installed ? I ordered with two additional options (aggressive shifting at wide open throttle and rear o2 sensor removed).

Chips on ATX cars give some real benefits. Faster, harder shifting is one of them. Some also extend the rev range, and some eliminate the speed limiter. The advantages in 5 spd cars are much less & more subtle. Count on having to use premuim gas.
