hello everyone, I'm new to this forum. I was reading some of the posts. I have questions about a few parts on my Focus. It's an '03 16V Zetec ZX3. Not too much is done to it as of now. So far i have a 4-2-1 exhaust header, custom mandrel-bet 2 3/4 exhaust w/ high-flo cat, Ford Racing plug wires, short intake, lowering springs, and 17's. I am planning to install a PowerWorks supercharger. It's a root type blower. I'm don't plan to upgrade the pulleys just yet. I was curious as to whether or not the stock ZX3 fuel pump will be able efficient enough to supply the needed fuel and at the right pressure, or if i will run into a problem. Another question is, how much hp will the stock half-shafts handle? I've heard many different numbers from many different people. I'm still not exactly sure how much they will handle. And if i do need to upgrade the half-shafts where can i find some. I've looked EVERYWHERE for aftermarket shafts, and can't find any anywhere. I've taken care of the clutch, brake upgrades, and can have the computer tuned as needed. I just need to know what else i will need to buy to have the Focus up and running right. Any and all help/advise is appreciated. Thanks

don't know many answers to you questiuons but I have drive a couple of the Powerworks Cars and thay all were stock except for the PW Blower on them. One was an automatic Zetec ZX3 and the other I drove was a 04 SVT ZX5. The SVT had aftermarket springs on it but that was it. It belongs to one of the R&D guys and he bought it and imediatly put on the Powerworks SVT system. There systems are made to go on an utherwise 100% stock car.

Give the Powerworks guys a call or e-mail. They are very knowledgable and helpfull guys.

:wave;wel

I also got to drive several of the Powerworks supercharged cars and these guys use their every day drivers as prototypes, so these get real world tests.  Not to mention the shows they take these to and let others pound on them.  And I pounded on them ;devil

Most definitely check them out - best of luck to you & really hope you'll share your pics and mods w/ us when they're done!

love the newbies! embrace the newbies!  mod, mod, MOD! lol
