with 112,000 miles on my car im ready to change the plugs, ive seen champions new e3 sparkplug on the shelves in the auto parts stores, ive been thinking about trying them out, has anyone tried these out yet? also ive heard about "side gapped" plugs, they're used on the top fuel dragsters, does anyone know of a company that makes solid copper plugs? IMO i know copper is the best conductor for the spark, any suggestions or solutions would be helpful

Are these plugs platinum? Platinum plugs don't work well with the Focus.
Well that can't be right considering that the stock motorcraft plugs are platinum and I've been running autolite double platinums for the life of my car (113K as we speak). For a long time the double platinums were the favored plug, then people went with the Denso or the NGK, granted at a vastly increased cost over the double platinums. One thing I do know is that the Bosch 4 prong platinum plug is a big no no.
