WHEN I DRIVE WITH MY A/C ON THE CAR IS VERY SLUGGISH, ESPECIALY AT RED LIGHTS, WHEN I TAKE OFF THE ENGINE BOGGS VERY BADLY. IS THIS FROM THE COMPRESSOR OR SOMETHING ELSE COMBINED WITH THE A/C? ANY SUGGESTIONS OR SOLUTIONS WILL BE VERY HELPFUL

Dude, the car makes 130hp, and A/C takes up ~10% of that. It's going to feel sluggish. At least it doesn't die with the A/C on at idle like my ex's Geo.

lol!!  i knew the a/c robs power but i didnt know it would make that much of a difference, does anyone make an under drive pulley or something to compensate for that?

UDP would HELP but you'll still notice a difference. Just think about running the a/c as taking away 10-15hp. A UDP will lessen that number by about 25%... so 7-12hp.

That's why I remove the a/c on every car I plan to mod. Even without it on, it's still engine drag turning the pulley. It's already off the RX-7.

yup, it is especially characteristic at launch, though it robs all the time. While on the highway holding speed, switch the AC on and you'll be able to "feel" the AC kick on.
