I contacted a dyno shop in omaha,ne.....the guy there wants 600 dollars to custom tune my car...and that doesnt include cam adjustments.....thats seems outrageous to me...but it includes removing my superchips chip that i have permanently...so i guess i could recoup some of that by sellin it.....man i still think the price is high...his dyno time runs 150 for the first hour and 90 there after

I've bought some pretty good cars for $600 or less.

If he isnt making cam adjustments, what is he tuning?  He has the unlock codes to rewrite the engine strategy in the EEC-V? Thought I was the only one with total access..............

TXFO: this is what he told me....he can reprogram the ecu without the use of an aftermarket chip. He told me this isnt the best way to do it cause he wants to sell me the sct chip from superchips...but he sells them for 700 if he programs them. I dun know what he tunes other than fuel maps n ignition stuff...im not up on that stuff at all...im checkin on a dyno in des moines...maybe they will be cheaper...also i wont be doing the cam gears till december when i get my bonus check....maybe i will get the gears and the sct chip at the same time....ray sent me a link for the sct chip was like 399 with three preset tunes or something...
