Can you be a bit more specific? It's hard to diagnose with the info you've given.

What's it sound like? Can you hear it, feel it , or both? How long does it take to go away? Have you opened the hood while the car is running to see if you can pinpoint the sound/vibration? Does it happen when the car is cold, e.g. not warmed up, or just when the outside temp is cold? If you take the car out of gear, does it still do it? Do you have a stick or atx? You might check your hvac controls. Put them in various configurations. The AC is automatically on when in defrost mode. Does it make the noise/vibration then? How 'bout in heat only mode?

To add more questions.

Are you low on oil? How many miles on oil change? we really need to know the tranny type and if this happens at start/warm-up(sitting in P or N) or when driving or both.

my 2000 SPI sedan does the same thing. It sounds and feels like the suspension needs time to warm up and get loose. To descibe it, its a little rough and the vibration makes the struts and springs hum a bit. After a few miles it gets quieter. I have full aftermarket suspension so it must just be something in the design of the front setup.

Thank you, you really explained the problem how it is. I have two focus' at home and they both do the same thing. now i'm, not sure if its a big thing and if everybody that has these models are experiencing the same problems, and if so is there anything that Ford can do about this. I would like to know if anybody else is experiencing this..if so please write.
