I want to start auto crossing my car but have a lot of work to do. I have evaluated a few things and the suspension is nice and tight but the following items need to still be installed.
I have to install my Eibach Anti Roll Kit, no biggie
I have to change out the front strut plates and bearings since the bearings are going bad.
Euro Front Swaybar Endlinks need to be installed.
and my rear shock shims need to be installed.
I feel a really long suspension day coming up real soon.
Not to mention, I need to purchase and install my SVT Front Brake Kit which is on hold for me. I also need to strip out some sound deadening and the heavy stereo set up. and I may even swap out my dampners for some Koni Adjustables.

Just remember that after you do all that work I beleve you will be in G Class which is where the SVT is. I know around here you would consistantly loose to Buddy (Wizzard Racing)
You need to get yourself some sticky tires and you be all set to go.
Also the Euro end link connecting rods are the same as the stock ones only designed slightly differant.

I do beleive there is someone else here that can relate to a REALLY long suspension day .. hows about 12 hours start to finish ?Don't start Tiff. you know mine took all of 2 months...

and a learning experience for us all
my SVT was running in STS last year, mind you with stock suspension, cold air, throttle body, and front upper strut bar. this year however, will be a different story
Nope H and G are stock classes, usually listed as HS and GS, they are based on a vehicles performance capabilities stock. For example a Porsche 911 is A Stock or AS and a WRX is D stock or DS (so is Chris' Lexus). The regular Focus is H stock the SVT is G stock (unless you don't tell them and they don't know.) Then there are modified classes such as STS or Street touring sport I think it stands for. Then STS2 which is basically a 2-door designation usually, or at least that was what I thought it was from the rules. Then there are Modified and Street prepared. Usually if you had an A stock and did certain things you could be placed into the A Modified or A street prepared categories. All of these just try to even the playing field so that power and modification doesn't matter.
