I've already busted 3 sockets trying to loosen front strut at the knuckle. I've been to 3 part stores and can't find a 15mm nut extractor. I do not have access to any impact tools. I've tried a torch and 15mm wrench also but starting to round off the nut. Any help besides going to a shop. I'd hate to pay someone for this work.

Soak it in PB blaster for a day of so.

A shop might be able to remove and reinstall the nut for you so you can go back home and do the work. THere have been guys I've heard of going to a shop and having them use the air to loosten all the necessary bolts than they go home and do the swap without any problems with the bolts.

and what brand of tools are you using that keep braking?

I've used blaster already, going to try a high impact socket from NAPA. The tools I've tried are cheap japanese crap. If that doesn't work there is a shop close by though.

Got the struts done today. Smashed on an impact socket and got them loose. All easy after that until I got to the rear. Can't get the right side loose at LCA. No surprise. Can I loosen the top of arm and get spring Out?

Glad to hear you got it all done. I was on vacation last week and didn't touch a computer once.

and get some good tools if you plan on doing more work. I get craftsman. Good product at a decent price and if it brakes I go to sears(kind of a pain) and get a new one for free.

I've had craftsman but over the years they slowly dissappeared. Now I know everything is metric I know what to buy. I only bought what I needed for now. There are other tools around too. I'll certainly buy god stuff. Nothing worse than braking stuff in the middle of your work. I think a magnaflow cat-back is next. I heard it sounds decent. A guy I work with has a Civic with auto trans and it sounds like shit!
