not very, I'm almost 100% positive the springs are different, and so are the dampers from what I've heard, but I'm not as certain on that coin. The new style has little resemblance to the original suspension, and worse, it doesn't seem to be garnering the aftermarket support.
I think 05 is the last yar for 00-04 suspension swaps. Like always Ford tweaks things to make them just that much differant. They wanted a smoother softer ride and i know some things did change in 06 to get that.
