I'm going to buy the rear camber bolts for my 00 ZX3 to adjust my camber.  are they pretty straight forward to install, do I need a torqu wrench or impact.  Can I install them with regular home tools with out to much trouble.  How about the front strut camber adjusters. I know I will need a spring compressor but do I need anything else.

you will need an angle grinder to install them. You can buy a very nice one for under 50 bucks. Get a cut off wheel and a grinding wheel. Dont get a grinder that uses a wheel larger than 4.5 inches. The bolt that holds the upper control arm to the knuckle comes out very easily with a breaking bar. There will be a nut tack welded to the knuckle. Use the cut off wheel to try to cut one of the welds. they are positioned in a way that makes it very hard but it can be done. After cutting at least one weld, use a socket and breaking bar to twist the nut off. Then use your grinding wheel to grind that surface flat. It has to be smooth. There is also a flange on the knuckle that needs to be ground too. (you'll see what I mean when you first install the bolt. ;) )

Have a friend twist the control arm with some pliers so that you can slide the bolt thru. I made a notch in the bolt head where the lobe is at minimum so it would be easier to read the adjustment. Using the spacers for reference is not exactly accurate. turn the bolt to where you want the adjustment at and then lock in the spacers. You should have a spacer on both sides of the knuckle. Use a hammer and a screwdriver to get them fully engaged. After that, put on the washer and tighten the nut to 55 lb/ft. I am making a how to with pics so hopefully I can have that up before you tackle yours.

oh yeah. those are the instructions for the back. the fronts are very easy. you just disassemble the struts and replace the center bearing plate with the new eccentric ones.
