Just moved to Gainesville.  I finally got my Euro plates, and scored a Euro front grille and some sidemarkers from Mr. Colin over in UK.

I also have an R/S front bumper sitting in my garage too.  Needs paint...  One of these days, I'll get that done.

Anywhere, here we go...

Kev that is hot looking mang. Question how in The Blue Hell did you mount your front euro plate and the rear one as well. I had a bracket that I got from Florida and wound up bracking the plastic bracket do to the fact that the bracket would not bolt up correctly? From what I could tell you have to make new mounting holes for the front euro plate bracket. I still have mine, but will probably hit up Colin for a new front one and to get one for the rear. Cause the one that I got about three years ago was from a guy in the UK, name w/held, not Colin though and when I got it in the mail it was all bent to hell in the top left corner.

The front one is temporarily held on with 2-sided foam tape.  When I get my euro bumper on, i'll probably just tape it to that too.  Dont really want to drill any holes.

The back one is obviously in the mounting bracket.  The bracket has about 2 million holes in it for any possible alignment of holes.  I originally had taken the US plate mount off, and theres two holes in the trunk that mine attached to perfectly.  But then I realized I have no place to mount the US plate.  So mine is actually mounted to the upper two holes in the US plate bracket.  Ie, the euro plate bracket is mounted on top of the US one.  Then the lower two holes hold the US plate on.

Btw, I got my plates from http://www.LicensePlates.tv.  They are not *real* plates, but they have registration stickers (good thru dec 2005!) and the plates are also finished with some sort of official looking hologram.  A few people who appear to be a little more european than me have commented on them, and no one's said "oh those aren't real".  :D

^^ That website also sells the plate holder that I used.  I recommend.  It's a little fragile, but it seems to me that they all are ...

You know my opinion!

You're doing most of what I'd like to get done to mine, however, it'd be hard for me here in NH to ride without the front plate, since it's illegal.  Have to have both plates.

Love the ass on that car...*envy - I'll have the money somday to do a full euro conversion (outside that is).

Hey, is that a Contour Valve cover? (can't find one here...the salvage yards try to tell us they are on "good, working engines") even though we've found them (engines) filled with water and rust etc.  damn them!

Keep up the good work!
