This is where I am at right now with Candy. Notice the M3 mirrors r not on yet, due 2 I am waiting 4 the side clear Euro's 2 come in so we can put in both at the same time. (Hooking up the M3's 2 the clear corners)
The two new doors r in and so r the inside panels:
We pounded out the fender so the door would fit and they r not staying on long, so they r being held by 3 screws only, LOL :
Here u can tell how lopsided she is, my need 4 new struts and she is on the spare, my need 4 new tires/rims:
And she looks fine from the backside, LOL, wearing my OK-Focus shirt 4 Mr.Squatch/Galen:
Thanks 4 listening and looking at the pics.
Hopefully next year I will be posting the new and improved Candy and not looking like this. I have not developed the crash one's. Don't want 2 see them.
Thanks again.[:I]
have you photoshopped it to get an idea how its going to look? what about the roof panel, thats the cross piece, should do something special with that. maybe a good custom paint piece, like ghosting or a jolly roger flag.
TXFO wrote: wait Im confused now. are you really doing it all "mask of zorro" style or are you just fucking with me?Nope, u hit me right on it, that is what I'm doing. And now u r just giving more ideas, THANKS!!!
If it were me, I would want to do something to visually "stretch" the back doors. like continue the black in a thining line forward over the wheel well across the fender to meet the hood. then back to the trunk from the width of the doors getting thinner and upward to meet the thrunk lid. I realize that makes the car mostly black but I think the visual effect would make it more streamlined and less choppy. When I get some time this week I will photoshop something that will better illustrate what I mean.
Duuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuude, ok, um, I was kidding, the car is being re-painted Imperial Blue (if my dude can get the color over here, only offerred in the UK) and then keeping the hood black. LOL, this was hilarious.
