Ok well since it was "abundantly sunny" and around 70* out today I figured I'd take the Focus out for a bath. She's all clean inside and out and vacuumed... didn't get to wax, but by the water's beading pattern she can hold out another couple weeks til I'm home and have a yard to park her in.
Anyway, without further adu, pictures... oh yeah got a new part on yesterday:

I feel like the hood will look even better once the dark grey Summer wheels are on. Shoulda done 'em yesterday but didn't have the time... soon enough.
Very nice pics...I really like that hood...I was thinking of buying the one that has the blue in it for my SVTF...They are about $750 or something like that aren't they???

Very nice - Dan and I cleaned the PZEV yesterday (Sat 4/09/05) and she's had the sand pit cleaned out and even the engine bay was washed and degreased. Just didn't have enough day to really clay bar. I wanted to get the heavier junk off this time and next warm weekend will go whole hog.
I'm crossing my fingers for a sunny weekend next weekend for our G2G

I can't recall Blurry, but I think for the blue Kevlar weave it's ~750 + shipping. I debated between that one and this, but I went with the regular CF (duh). SO you know, so you can plan or whatever, shipping to me was $170 (stupid coming from Toronto) and that's fully insured, etc etc.
It was SO easy to put on I was shocked, and it can't weigh 15 lbs... I like it a lot!
Chelly, I actually need to clean the engine hardcore... all the electrical and wires scare me, I don't want to fry them! But sadly my driveway at home is DIRT so it's real icky in there I swear one day this summer I'm getting up early and spending the whole day scrubbing that engine bay, if that's what it takes!
Well I didn't weigh both... there's no way the CF tips the scales over 15 lbs, and rough guestimate I'll say the stock is ~40? I can weigh that one though since it's laying around... definitely a significant change!
