First off, this thread contains graphic images which may not be suitable for Focus lovers.

Unfortunately, you can only put 5 pics on a disk so I got the best 5 and put them on here.

First three pics are at the salvage lot.

Next is at my house, fenders + bumper removed.

And here is the "fixed" passenger side airbag :)

See the broken windshield? That's from the airbag cover! The thing has a thick plate of steel under it. The cover was in the shape of a taco when I got it. Talk about FORCE! I had to STOMP on the cover to straighten it out as best I could. It's not perfect, but it's good enough for now.

Well now you've seen some of stage one...

Poor little car. Well I'm glad now he's in rehab. He may have a little bit of a limp but I still like him.

You need to do a write up on how to remove the fenders.  I tried this once just out of curiosity but couldnt seem to get the silly thing off.

Keep us posted on your progress, looks like you got a project on your hands.  And whats with all the other cars around there, you guys starting a used car lot? ;hysterical

I'll be sure to do a write-up once I put my new fenders on so I can take pics. It's a PITA, believe me... a MAJOR PITA! It took me 2 hours to get them off. The hardest part is finding the bolts.

The first three pics were taken at a car lot... read the captions! :P

Ouch poor Focus!!

Tho9se airbags definitely come flying out with a lot of punch, I'm not surprised at all about the windshield or cover... didn't know the cover was made of steel though, I just thought it was the plastic you can see on the dash!

Good luck fixing her up, can't wait to see her come back together as we know thingas should be. Car looks to be in pretty good shape aside from the obvious frontal damage though, that's nice!
