Where did you find lexan? I want!

You should strip out the sound deadener (the black stuff on the floor). All you need is a heat gun or some source of much heat and a screwdriver to pull up the stuff. It's a couple extra pounds.

Also, how far have you gone with "swiss cheesing""? all you need is a 1 or 2" hole saw and a drill and a couple extra hours :)

Swiss cheesing is the art of drilling a shitload of holes in unnecessary panels and unseen places. IE the hood skeleton, front structural bumper, inside of the hatch, rear kick panels, inner doors... anywhere there's a non-structural area that you could take a chunk off of and it wouldn't affect the car. I plan on doing this extensively with PFF2 to help offset the weight I'll be gaining with my sound system, door poppers, etc.

I'd love to get lexan windows too and then maybe do a CF or fiberglass hatch. I want to slim her down before I fatten her up.

i dont want to cut it up... i looking into a cf hatch, they dont make fiber glass one.. vis has the cf hatch for like 450 plus shipipng is about 100... so not cheap... lexan windows arent cheap either.. from flex-a-lite, the 3 back windows go for like 600-700ish last i heard... but the windows do weigh about 1lb a pieice... so all depends on whatu want to spend..
