The flat black doesn't look 1/2 bad.

But why is it that new paint always looks good until you drive down the road a few feet and it start's to look 20 years old?

You going to clear it for ease of cleaning?

nah, I wont clear it. My experience with rattle can clear is that it causes more problems than it fixes. I'll just wipe the towers clean with a wet cloth. I dont even really care about keeping it clean, I just dont want to pop the hood to a blue engine bay. I dont like that look.

Some new parts showed up today, Clutch line and steering column! now I can get back to making mechanical progress. :D

Funny how "different" parts look when they are not in/on the car.

I'd like to be gathering parts for my '68. I do have some like a whole front suspension to do a disc brake swap. And a PS box and steering column to do a power steering conversion. Like how my conversions are standard equipment on newer cars.  :D
