Let me know what you think.

Engine bay.
No big performance mods yet.  Right now it's stock with Magnacore wires and NGK Iridium plugs.  Stock it produces 133 HP and 114 ft-lbs or torque.

Top up.

Top down.

Wheels.
They are off of a 2004 Special Edition Mazda Miata.  They were made by Enkei in a gunmetal finish.  They were a limited production and can't be purchased anymore.  It also has (but not pictured) KYB 8-way adjustable shocks.  You can adjust the damping to provide a better ride or better handling...they're NICE.

It's still growing on me, but I like it.  I really want to get a body kit put on it and put on a performance intake, throttle body, header, cat and exhaust.

To be honest Chelly, it's not favorite car in the world either, and that's why I'd like to put a body kit on it.  But hey, you can't say no to a free car.

Very clean. IMO Miata's are great cars. I might have considered one, but I'm 6' 4" & the Miata's I've been in are a size 38 regular.

Very nice manninej.  Looks like you're gonna have project car to put some of your schooling to use on, LOL.  Keep us posted on what you are doing with it.  Maybe I can come out that way soon enough and we can go for a ride along the twisties and see how that puppy handles.

Congrats. It's a great little car. Since the shocks are already in it all you need is a little more power and you'll have a very tossable fun car.

Very nice, the newer one's look so much better than the older ones.  The car is just begging to be modded.  Also nice wheels, can't beleive they came from the factory.

Oh, she handles like a dream.  I had her going around near 90 degree turns at about 60 mph.  The shocks are set on 4 right now, so I still have another 4 settings to make it handle even better.

I'm hoping to have an exhaust on it within a few weeks and an intake shortly after that.  Then a header and throttle when I can.  These cars beg to be turbocharged, but I just don't have the money to do that, so I might look into some good cams and leave it at that until I graduate.

Here's another pic of a shift knob that I just got done making.  It took me about 2 hours on the lathe.

That is a nice shift knob man.  They are begging to be turbo'd because the engines roots are from the old 323 GTX, you know the ol' all wheel drive turbo 323 they had in the early 90's.  First car I ever owned and it was a brute.  Over heating is a problem with turbo miata's, but as time goes by the kits will get better.
