Well I got my wheels the other day and they were worth the wait.  The only thing I don't like about them is it makes it more obvious that I need some drop and a 4 wheel big disc brake upgrade, other than those 2 things I love em.

Thanks for the kind words guys.  It's funny I thought that 17's would fill up the wheel well more but when I stood my stock 15's next to my 17's the new ones were slightly shorter.

The total diameter has to be pretty close to stock so that odometer and speedometer will read correctly.  The only real difference with a 17 inch tire is amount of sidewall will be less than the 15.

Very nice....

Agreed...a little drop and bigger brakes...would make it look nice. Or, just carry 3, 250lb. passenger friends and see if it drops it a bit..

I like your idea, just load up the front and rear of the car with sand bags.  It's probility cheaper than getting a supension.:D

The wheels are Team Dynamics and the style is Pro Race 1's.  They come in several different colors which include black and white.  Check out the web site @ http://www.teamdynamicsusa.com  They are super hard to fine so I you like I can give you the name of the place I got them, a local speed shop was able to order them.

yeah,
that's what i've been thinking.
although,
if i get white,
being anything remotely like a "sleeper"
is right out the window.
also,
if i go black wheels,
i can go yellow on the calipers,
but if i go white wheels,
where do i go on the brakes? black?

thanks.
mind if i ask what they ran you?
i've been looking at these
but if i can find something non-ford for vaguely similar cost,
that'd be a serious plus.

The wheels from Ford Racing parts are real nice, didn't see them until after I ordered mine.

To answer Jonny's question the tires are Falkin Azenis size 205/40/zr17

As for the cost of the wheels I'm not to sure.  I got the wheels/tires/mount and balance as a package price.  But I would say the wheels were around $185.

Little info for ya about the white rims.... they SUCK to keep clean... absolutly blow. Even with low dust pads mine pretty much always look like they need a good cleaning. Nice thing about black.... never look dirty :)

So, just take that from my experence... think about how much you clean the car, and how much you want to clean the car... that should help in the decision ;)

Ill show you an example when i can get a pic if you would like.... should have the car sometime this week :)
