not a huge improvement all things considered,
but i was surprised how much -louder- the car is
when i put the hammer down, now.
at low RPM's the car still doesn't stand out much
from a stock ZX3 (which i like),
unless someone knows about sonic blue's only being SVT's,
but once i hit it,
there's no hiding that big, throaty sound.
my borla cat-back is back-ordered,
but within a month or so,
i'll have more shots of the new tail end.

i hope the size on these doesn't totally annoy people.

the whole engine compartment.
i can't -wait- to get some more of that ugly black shielding out of there.

its a much bigger diameter pipe than i expected.

you can see the blue under the battery,
where it goes all the way to the front fender well.

the small, matte silver vinyl branding.
if i get too much grief (people always wanting to "go")

with those on, i'll take them off again.

Looks good, as for the black plastic stuff just paint it.  It will look so much better and won't cost that much.  Also looks like someone needs to clean the engine bay.

oh,
i meant to ask,
painting the shielding
won't cost as much as -what-?
simply removing it?

Well removing it would be the cheapist.  I meant painting it rather than gettin flashy chrome or carbon fiber stuff.

i had to think quite a while
to figure out where all the dust came from in mine,
then i remembered
that half the driving i did in Maine
was on unpaved roads.

sadly,
the car wash just up the street is closed on sundays.
