actually not a bad one for once...
had a mil for my upstream o2 to start the story out...
anywho. ford wanted 99 for the sensor, went to checker and got it for 49. didn't feel like crawling around on cold concrete so took it in to have it installed at the dealership. didn't take too long to do that.Was about rolling on the floor though when the mech went to back up (is it really that dificult to find reverse?). finally someone showed him.But the classic was the shop burnout (actually more of a long tire chirp) he did. tire screach in a shop is awesome. only thing i heard him say when he got to the diagnistic bay and got out was, "christ that thing has balls!"
also had them do a reflash (02 svt) since i had the surging problem. turns out the yrfo flash (think thats what it was) has been superceded once again by an even newer flash.
well, now no mil, and the flash fixed the rest.
Just gotta do a few more things and get her back in shape...
