The pvc breather hose will not hook back up to your intake.  Having the oil pulled into the combustion chamber will only cause detonation.

You have a couple of choice's

1.) get a length of hose from local auto parts store and let it hang down.

2.) Buy a expensive oil catch can.

3.) Do what Tom's son and I do, get a plastic bottle ( I used a Propel bottle ) and run some hose from the pvc bung into the bottle.  When you really get onto it hard a little oil will run into the bottle.  I just cut a round hole in the bottle lid and slid the hose in.

Thats not a bad price for a catch can.  Very little drains out of the pvc hose, I've had it for a couple of weeks and there is very little in the bottle.

A billet oil catch can will definitely add some more bling to the engine bay.

let me ask you another question...........

The basic kit is 9psi and non intercooled IIRC. If I want to add an intercooler later, how would I go about getting the tuning adjusted so it would advance the timing some for the colder air? If I relocated the IAT with the CFM kit into the boosted air it would adjust automatically but then I would have to tune it fromt he beginning to read for a blow thru instead of suck thru. I also dont want to dick with toms kit too much since its pretty perfect. I dont think going to his shop is gonna be an option so Im still pretty confused about how Im gonna get it tuned just right from a 4 flip chip.

I don't know what the IAT is.  Please specify.

As for the tunning, Tom has done this for alot of foci and can get the program pretty close without dyno tunning it at his shop.  You will not see as much power as if he was able to spend a couple of hours dyno tunning it.

IAT = intake air temp.

c-f-m has a kit to relocate the sensor out of the MAF and into wherever you want it. like into the boost stream for example.

I see now.  I'm not sure of the answer.  I understand how reading the intake temp. up stream from the turbo insted of pre turbo would get you more power.

I would send Tom an email and ask him about this.

Tom just uses the sensor in the MAFS in his 440hp focus.

Send him an email, he usually answers back pretty quick.

Check out this artical from FFMM.  They divorce the IAT from the MAFS and put the MAFS pre turbo and the IAT post intercooler.
