If your high beam and normal lights are backwards, swap the red/blue leads inside the headlight to the correct bulb. Outer lights should be normal. Inner is high beam.

HEy microntal,....

Does the KS already come with the resistors for the led's? And does it matter if the high/low are reversed?(i dont care if  the gauges say high beam when im using low beam)

1. I emailed KS(anzo usa) about the headlight but received no reply to if their headlights have resistors for the halos. So, I installed some 330 ohm, half watt resistors.

Here's their website. Click here

The wiring isn't hard.

What happened is that they but the bright wire to the low beam bulb and the normal wire to the brights bulb.

If you take of the two caps/covers on the rear, you can see the wires that connect to the bulb themselves. Just unplug the wires from the bulbs and swap them. You might need to take the bulbs out to do this. This is better than cutting the headlight wiring harnest like I did.

Anyway, if you got any more questions, post away.

Really ?

I've heard like 3-4 people with these HL's have the Halo's burn out and they didn't install the resistors.

Don't say you weren't warned... ;)

Hum...I wonder what value it is ?

If it's lower than 300, it's gonna draw too much current for those LED's.

I believe both are 55watts.

They're both little capsule bulbs.

If I remember when I get home, I'll look at them tonight and post.

btw:

DO NOT remove the H1 high beam bulb because the retainer clip will come off and there's no way to see how to put it back on unless you remove the the headlight.

I found out the hard way...
