Ok to make a long story a little less long I'll cut to the point...The cable that pulls the window up and down has gotten out of place and chewed up into the motor. I went to ford and they said it would cost $220 to fix. Is there a way to get it back into place myself? Has anyone ever needed to remove the motor? I really don't want to have to pay this much for a window I almost never use. So if anyone can help please let me know soon before I give up and let them do it. Sometimes it's no fun owning this many doors.

Yeah, I punched a baby once, in anger. But in my defense the baby was being kind of a dick.
I would get the ebay thingy and do it yourself, let me ask my hubby, he was currently working on my doors and looking in there, so we could switch them with the new one's. I will give u any info asap. K?
finally fixed it. Got the ebay regulator for a little under $30 shipped to me. Install took all of 35 mins. Just 3 bolts holds it in place. Knocked the pin that holds the window to the regulator. Pull out the regulator....slide new one in...replace pin. All done.
