the black looks really nice, and i'm lovin the chrome lip.....
i got a ?/idea....for anyone that has photoshop.... instead doing a chrome lip, do a red lip....anybody think it would look good??? black svt wheels, with a red lip, on a red SVT... who ever has photoshop, can someone try doing that??? i think it would look awesome on the red SVT's.

i used duplicolor universal black and the duplicolor clear high performance wheel coating, to make the finish stronger. so far its held up great, taken it thru five, maybe ten car washes and it still looks like i just painted them.
i think black with red lip would look cool, kinda like the rota auto-x's
there's a black and red theme, it's not quite what you're saying but could be manipulated in PS pretty easily. I think your idea could look nice, it'd be different too.
thanks lil duratec!!! i got the idea, and i think it would look mad hot

yeah, it really not that hard, me and my lovely fiance did it in about 5 hours, and that was taking off one wheel at a time.
i used two cans of duplicolor universal black, one can of duplicolor high performance wheel coating(clearcoat), 400 grit sand paper, and masking tape.
you take off the wheels and clean them really well, then sand the entire wheel down with 400 grit, till the there are no glossy areas left on the wheel.
clean the wheel off again and dry it off with a towel then let air dry. mask off all the areas that you dont want paint on, and then start with the color.
spray VERY light coats, dusting the entire wheel, keep on doing that till the entire wheel is coated well. let that tack for a few minutes then start with the clear coat, spraying the same way.
take your time, its worth doing it right the first time. let them dry till they are dry to the touch, be very careful putting the wheels back on cause the paint is not completely dry.(if you have an extra set of wheels or four wheel jacks you can leave the car on, let them dry overnight before putting them back on, thats even better)
wait a while before you take it to a car wash but once its fully dry you should have no problem taking it thru a car wash.
