I appreciate that you will fix it then, however... im at the end of my rope with this and really dont want to wait another 4 weeks.  If it isn't fixed by then, help yourself... but any other tips or ideas are greatly appreciated until then :)

So heres the update. I spliced the green wire to the red wire, and that completly shut out the fogs altogether. They wont work on accesory like they did before. Then I said what the hell, ill try the black. That was the same outcome.  Any other suggestions ?

Yep, I agree here with audio - leave your electronics alone Tiff (patience grasshopper) - Your whole electronic system has been hacked to hell by so many different ppl.

One other note to EVERYONE - from year to year since 2002 Ford has been mucking around with the wiring.  I understand that the principal of the fogs & harness is basically standard, but from the inside all is different.

Another note: Tiff, that wiring diagram Dan gave you was the only copy (specific to your car's setup) so he'll have to look and map it out again...it's not going to match the stock stuff.

Dan and I have the 2003 wiring book from Ford.  The actual shop book.  You do have the 2003 don't you?

Tiff, be patient - there are ppl. who know this stuff - let them help you.

the fogs may not flash anymore but the alarm should work.

here it is very simply put. your fog lights should have 2 wires and 2 wires only. one is black, that goes to ground. the other wire, regardless of color, should go to the fog light relay. if you do that, they will work.

I just went out and tried this. The red wire goes to the alarm, it controls the horn for the alarm. I put the green wire in its place and the outcome was the same.

Got anything else ( I appreciate your help)

you still need a relay. usually the slot is wired but no relay is placed. this helps production by utilizing a common part instead of having several different variations. when you put in the foglights, you would place a relay in the slot and hook the wire to the fogs.

I will look at my diagrams again on my lunch break and try to break down for you everything fromt eh battery, thru the switch and down to the lights. :)

Oh jeez - lol - Tiff - we have a lot of extra parts and relays for the focus.  If you can hold off, Dan and the rest of the crew can help.  I'm sure it's a quick fix.

It more or less aggrivates me that its been an ongoing problem and liek you said, is probably a quick fix...
