Ok, now you all can think that I am psyco because I need to get some plate frames for the new car.

I need them for 2 reasons.... (1) one plate is all rusted from the screws in for the focus so the frame will cover up the rust... looks tacky now with rust on a new car... and... (2) the front of the car is very rounded so it has this dumb looking mount thing on there that is bigger than the plate itself... and the frame helps cover it up so it looks more proportioned.

So... now im looking for advice on what I should get. Its one of those little things I always thought was kinda silly but now that Im in need... im a bit overwhelled!

There have been thoughts of getting Window Licker frames to replace the symbol off the old car but.... any other ideas??

I like either black or chrome frames with smoked plastic cover for the front. On the rear, I like the frame that's made from red reflective material, with no cover.

What are window lickers?

I have Amsoil plate frames lol

Also, at AutoZone you can pic up mounting brackets if your front doesn't have 4 holes to hold it.  I have one on my car.

PS - Those plastic covers are only legal if they are clear in the State of NH.  No smoked or colored ones are legal here - they state that they inhibit clear view of the plate. blah, blah, blah...

Well... they have been ordered. Should be here in 2-3 weeks.

Something as a little dedication to Franklin.... have to have some love for the pup on the car somewhere ;)
