ok as the topic stated I need Front fenders for my focus what it doesn't state is why or what kind. I need front fenders for my 2005 ZX3 as someone did a hit and run on my car. I need them to be carbon fiber.  I know unpainted carbon fiber fenders can be tacky but hear me out... this is step one in my two tone scheme i want for my car... I plan on takeing my egg yolk yellow focus and replaceing all lower outer skin on my car with carbon fiber. leaving the top egg yolk yellow.  normaly i would start with the hood as some companies already make CF hoods for my car but as stated some jerk has forced me to start here.

anyone know of a company in the preproduction stage or development stage I might be able to hit up for these parts? I plan on getting all my CF from the same company as it wont be painted so i need the same weave on all pieces aside from maybe the hatch and hood. this will be a fair amount of cash to which ever company can get me the fenders first. they can be OEM or F1 or Z3 i dont care they just need to becarbon fiber and I need them yesterday.

Any help is greatly apreciated...

just think how light a Carbon Fiber Focus would be.

What are your plans for your car? I would think CF fenders would not really be cost effective. What would be the purpose? Yes in the end your car would be real light but man you still need the power to move it. Not to mention the Focus in it's stock state isn't a heavy car. I don't think I have seen a place you can buy fenders, I have seen a hatch and hoods. Just seems like a lot of cash and all for what???? Then again it is your car, to do with it what you please. And it would be differnt.

they most deffinatly make carbon fiber fenders I just havent found any for my car yet found a few different options for the 00-04 but not the 05+

well initial plan is to replace the fenders as I need one right now might as well upgrade. long term is to install cosworth stage 1, 2, and 3 kits install steeda rear sway bar 28.6 mm with and H&R front sway bar 24 mm SCT ECU tuner, MBRP catback exhaust replase both cats with high flow cats, Highflow flex pipe, 46 mm throtle body, Turbo kit (not sure witch one yet) intercooler with nos intercooler chill kit and many many more mods that are too small to remember off the top of my head. baisicaly i hope to have the car on a strict diet and over 300 HP. then the car will as they say Shyt and get.

So back to more important issues does anyone know where to find carbon fiber fenders for my car. just think about getting the focus down to half its weight and nearly 3 times its HP and tell me that doesn't sound like fun.

To get your car to 300HP your going to need FocusPowers full kit plus more I'm sure. I think it's $5200.00 for the kit and tunning. That's for the Zetec kit I'm not sure what it costs for your car.

You want to send me some of the cash you got growing on the tree in your back yard. LOL

T/B you have on the car now is bigger then 46mm. LOL

yeah sorry about that i meant the 67 mm T/B and a properly built durate with turbo will push 300 easy. turbo alone can pull the car near 210-230 range.

Also I dont have a money tree I just aranged so that I have minimal bills and maximum income. but seriously has anyone found fenders for a 2005 focus?

You're probably not gonna find carbon fiber fenders yet... probably not for another year or 2. If anyone makes them it would be "Carbon Creations". call S.C.O. (Sport Compact Only)  @ 1-888-766-0022 and see if they have anything. Otherwise, flex fiber would be your best alternative till then.

for turbo, look at f2focus.com, I'm not sure it's in production yet, but they seem to have the edge over everyone else in that area, and they've already show a one-off twin turbo 2.3.  Very sick.

They also have a widebody RS kit, though I don't know if it's in carbon.

As someone who has replaced their fenders, I can tell you, those stock fenders are LIGHT as HELL! There is no need to replace your fenders. In fact, you might actually GAIN weight by swapping your fenders.

I'd just get some stock fenders, like $50 each, WAY more cost effective, and probably just as light.
