the stock side skirts on my car have been dented in an accident. is there any way to remove these so i can pound the dents out? note that my car is a 2000 LX and the body is all stock so far.

do you have any pics????

From my experience the lower side moldings on the 2000 & 01 are plastic and can come off. If they have already been taken off (if you bought car used) than you are looking at the body and cannot come off. If you do infact have metal lower side moldings than I would like to see them...

I'm thinking he means like mine...which aren't moldings so much as the actual sheet metal itself.  Mine is just painted to color match but not easily removed from what I can tell.

Easy way to find out is just go to the dealer and get a written estimate. Then you'll know what's involved and if it's something that you want to do yourself or have the dealer perform.

just for your reference - you can actually use a standard camera or even a disposable.  When you go to have pictures developed, you can have them put onto a CD.  Just a note to those of you who wish you had digi pics, but dont' have the camera or scanner.
