I have a 05 ST and I want 2 put 18's on it and drop it as low as it can go without any major modifications. Can anyone recommend what to use. and I'd also like to replace the brakes and calipers while I'm at it. can anyone recommend something good

You can fit 18's on w/ a certain size tire.  Most people actually run 17's b/c of how low the tire has to be.  Mine almost rub and i'm running a 17 w/ a 215/40.  If your speaking of a suspension drop i'm down 2" w/ a Eibach kit.  Your def. not going to be able to fit 18's on w/ anything lower then that i dont beleive.

When I bought my '05 ZX3, I had ideas about putting new low profile tires and rims and springs, dropping car about 2 inches. After extensive research, doing this correctly was going to cost way more than I was willing to spend. Especially on a new car that drove great. Still put new rims on her, I got used to the fenderwell gap and won't be buying a new rim/rims in the future,  due to potholes because of the low profile tires. Not doing the above mods mentioned correctly, can create big problems! Now down the road after car is paid for and is 2nd car maybe.
