The way he says "customize for my vehicle" makes me think it either needs some fabrication to make it work or he didn't have a Focus and was trying to make it fit on something else.

Knowing he's got some serious skills in taking care of his car...I have no doubt it will look FABULOUS!

Yeah, nice score. I bet it needs to be fabbed a bit, and the dood probably didnt want to or couldnt do it himself, so he just sold it. Good score though!
that's definitely a euro-spec one - you can tell from the turn signals on the side. dunno if it's a genuine ford part or not though. there is a us spec replica of the R/S focus bumper out there with cutouts for the US spec side turn signals that we have.
what i do know is that with the earlier model year focuses you do have to hack part of your actual metal bumper off on the sides to make it fit.
This is a fiberglass copy of the Euro spec bumper. So it's Euro spec (in that i'll have to trim the crash bar and remove the foam, etc), but it's not a genuine Ford part. Doesnt make a difference to me, I cant tell the difference.
Only thing I dont like is that whole fiberglass thing ... I guess fiberglass bumpers dont always fit great? They have to be fitted prior to painting? *shrug*

yeah... from what i've read online and on FJ is that with most fiberglass bumpers it's a good idea to actually leave it on the car for a while before you get it painted. i think that's because the fiberglass will conform to your car or something and it actually fits better after it's been on there for a while. if that's done while there's paint on it, the paint will probably crack or not look right.
