I know alot of you have aftermarket gauges and the orange stock needles just suck.

I heard and saw with my own eyes that you can jack needles from a contour (which happen to be white) and they will be a direct fit for our foci.. YaY

I just found this out a little while ago.. and I'm stoked... So I have been hounding junk yards lately.. lol

But one problem.. I can't remember if its the SVT contours or any ones... maybe a lil help? Thanks

I cant help with your question, but if you find out that it works, let us know, I would definately be interested in changing out the current set up.  Ive also looked for a contour as well cause their ignition module bracket is supposed to be a perfect fit for the Screamin' Demon coil.  The focus stock one will work, but its not a nice fit.

a little suggestion about replacing the needles...don't remove them from your guage cluster...bad things happen...i had tried that in the past...yeah it looks cool but the guages will be off by a lot... and the svt guage cluster has to be replaced if the needles are removed...same with the zx3...i found that out the hard way...it was a $550 mistake

I hate to tell you but you CAN get the needles back on and aligned. its just a matter of using the cluster test mode to set the needles right.

All of my needles have been taken off, and they are still accurate. The seedo was te hardest one. I had to drive down the road behind a friend, and when he got to a certain speed, he gave me the thumbs up. I stuck the needle on and as far as I know, it is accurate. Might be a redneck way of doing things, but it worke for me!

I did the swap. I used needles from a probe. Everything is fine but my fuel guage is off by a quarter tank.

Nice to hear this.

I also noticed a week ago thay the Ranger (94ish) should work also. They have clear needles.
