i decided to paint the vent surrounds, gauge surrounds, cd/ hvac surround and the top part of the console around the shifter red, cause my svt is black with red interior. i used krylon fusion, just washed everything off with dish soap and it went on real well. i think it looks great and everyone that sees it loves how it looks
sorry guys i dont have the svt anymore, i traded it in on a really slow yellow chevy aveo cause i was engaged and that was gonna be "our" car once she went to college. needless to say a week after she got out to college she left me so i'm stuck with a piece of crap that i didnt really want in the first place
so yeah i'm getting rid of it in the spring but i miss the svt
I just notice this was an old topic someone brought back.
And I'm sorry you sold the SVT. You should have kept the car and tought her how to drive it or buy a beater for her to drive at school.
Another thing. Nothing against you but getting engaged and than being seperated by college is a bad thing. sometimes the movies are correct.
I am sorry all around. post, car, girl.
And I hope chevy paid you to take that Aveo. The SVT was worth so much more than the Aveo. I'm thinking you sould have wanked out of the dealership with a $3000-$5000 loan on the car. That can be the up side to the whole deal.
she knew how to drive the svt, but she wanted a four door and thought the aveo was cute. you are right, i shouldnt have got engaged, but i loved her and i really believed she loved me too. i got a good deal on the aveo, the dealership gave me a really good amount on it (quite a bit over blue book) so i can pay off the loan in a few months if i want.
i got pics of my interior, ill post em up here, but i mensa if youre lookin for carbon fiber knobs, im not sure what to tell ya, i havent seen them before, but you could always use that fake carbon fiber crap, or just make your own...
The first 2 letters of your vin are the cars paint code, most places that sell auto paint can match it. Some stores can even inject it into spray paint cans which make it a whole lot easier.

I would go with matching blue, And you can get the sonic blue paint code and get the titanim paint made for the interiours of cars with that exact blue. another note. Make sure to mask everything and spray from a distance and if pisoble remover the peice altogther. Alot of people end up using spray paint and the it runs and then it falls off. The piant made for interiors is what you should use. goinloco1 wrote: Been going to do my interior pieces, but a color is eluding me.
what would be good with the sonic blue exterior?
