Ok, please bare with me, I am not new to moddin' just new to the small confinds of the Focus.  I searched and came up with an old thread about this topic from 2004, but I thought I'd start fresh so more people will take notice.

I'm trying to get through the firewall and according to the other thread (can't seem to find the link now) there is a little place AudioJunkie drilled through.  Is this it?

There is also another place that looks like other wires are going through but I can't seem to get anything through it.  It seems to get stuck on something.

Here's a pic of that....

Would one be better than the other?  I'm trying to run a power wire for my interior neons right now, but I will need a hole big enough to run a 4 guage amp wire and wire for my underbody neon's switch.

....I might as well kill all the birds with this one thread. I noticed there are 2 layers of carpeting and was wondering if I can run wire under the 1st layer and it be ok or if I should run it under both.  I've never seen that before.

Here's a pic...

In case you wanna see my car, here it is.  It's a 2006 CD Silver Metallic Sedan, but you can probable tell from the pic. :D

Thanks for any advice you can give...

Where are you loacted at in the states?  Anyway, yeah the first hole looks great. Iits plastic, easy to drill, big enough for 0 guage,  and nothing is near it to damage the wires.  I would run the wire under both sets of carpet, But i would need to see a better picture to tell you honestly.  If you are in Maine I will help you with your install for free.  What kind of equipment are you deciding to run?  Besides the neons of course?

Yeah I just went for it and drilled right through that first hole and it's all wired up. I'll snap some pics tonite if I remember.  I'm actually just outside of Orlando, Florida but thanks for the offer to help.

I've got (4) 12" Lanzar Comp Subs, (1) 2000 watt Lanzar Amp, Kenwood 1.5 din DVD head unit, Viper alarm/remote starter and Playstation to put in yet. I'm not sure what kind of box I'm going to do for the trunk yet, I litterly just got the car 3 days ago and haven't put much thought into it.

I already have all the wires and stuff I need for the install. I had all this stuff previously installed in my Avalanche before I traded it in. My box was huge and obviously wouldn't fit in my Focus trunk. :)

I'd be interested in seeing how that program works.  I wanting to build one of those false floors to put my amp and whatever else in, maybe under some plexi and light it up.  Although I'm not exactly sure though because I'm not sure how that works with the spare.  I would hate to get a flat and not have a spare with me.

I was thinking of trying to get 3 of the subs in there but maybe just 2 since I want to have the false floor and don't want the box to take up the whole trunk.

I don't know if the 06 has the same set up as my 03 but there is a spot right above the cluth peddel you can drill through.

Check my second post smokn, I drilled the hole already, I thought I'd just take a chance and go for it.  It's like when I put my own headrest monitors in my headrests of my Avalanche (when I had it) the first cut was the worst and it was all down hill from there.

I'll get pics tonite, I snapped 2 last night but I'm going to get a few more when it gets darker then I'll post em up.

I still wanna try and hide the back tubes more, when you sit in the back or look in the window their pretty visable.  There isn't much room in the back to really have any more tubes so this might have to do.
