I plan on installing the Vibrant performance fiberglas dash, but as you can see, theres no room for the AC vents, and where I live it gets very hot during the summer, so Im going to want AC, I mean I would love to go without it just for that extra little bit of hp, but it would just be way to damn hot in the car during the summer, plus Ill need heat for defrost in the winter, its kind of a lose-lose situation. any ideas would be appreciated.

I believe the round openings are for the AC vents. Of course you would have to get round vents to put in there. I believe the 05+ focus has round AC vents. I know the super duty trucks and I think newer F150 have round AC vents.

And it looks like the opening on the left for the headlights switch is not shaped correctly also.

Its a universal dash, the openings are for gauges, which I will be using for that exact purpose, and the light switch wil be remounted and rewired into a different switching mechanism. just like the AC controls if I keep them. Which comes back to my original problem, where the heck can I put AC vents?

The '05+ has squared off vents.

This dash looks like you're going to have to relocate a lot of stuff.

Good luck

I still say you use at least the center 2 rounds for air vents and than have 2 more come out under the dash towards the feet. Or if you really need the guage openings have all the AC come out at the feet.

Another thought. You going to be driving in the winter? You need some heat on the windshield.

ok, so after alot of thought, and consideration, ive decided to not install the dash, the only reason i wanted to redo the dash in the first place is because the tard:chair who owned it before me drilled holes in the dash, like the top part, very visible:gj, and I wanted to cover these ugly holes up, and i have nothing to put there, i think the jackass had installed a tach, why, i dont know, the stock cluster has a tach, and a damn accurate one at that. so any ideas how i can fill these holes like they were never there? also, where can i find interior parts for the 02 foci, like new ac vents, because the tard also painted the trim, and it wont come off(the paint), and he did a piss poor job of it, and broke two of the vents in the process, this guy was a complete idiot apparently, i also need a new cluster unfortunately, mines all scratched up, and the trip reset knob no longer works. thanks in advance, and if anyone knows of other focus support sites that are really active, please point me in their direction as i am really trying to figure out everything i need/can do to my foci while im in the great country of iraq, and get it priced so i can pray that my deployment covers all the expenses, which im sure it will.

The dash is fiberglass, right? I don't know how to do 'glasswork but I believe there are a few people here that do. It shouldn't be too hard, but I know there will be a lot of sanding. And then more sanding, and then some more sanding.

I'm keeping the stock dash, like it says, I dont know how to cover up the holes in the stock dash, and make it look good.
