Well since I didn't have to work today I thought I would get started on installing my boost gauge and wanted to post up some pic's to see what ppl thought.  Gotta love VJ day, the most un PC holiday in the world.

I have 2 more gauges, a fuel pressure and an oil pressure, to install that will fill up the rest of that space nicely.

RI is the only state that celebrates it.  VJ stands for Victory over Japan, you can see why I said it wasn't very PC.  But any excuse to have a day off work is OK with me.

Turbo.  The boost gauge does help me, it's mounted with an angle ring so it 's tilted towards me.  I only look over at it once and a while, to make sure I'm running the right amout of boost and for when I turn up the boost with my boost controller.

the whole country used to celebrate it.
for some reason, victory in europe is still pc enough
for everyone to celebrate,
but victory in japan is not.
i personally think its more racist
to act like the two victories are somehow different,
than not,
but whatever.
i've lived in RI for 7 years
and never actually gotten the day off
because i've either worked in MA,
or worked for companies
that had to be open
because they did business outside RI...

to keep it on topic,
if you're going to install small enough
fuel pressure and oil pressure gauges,
might i recommend using that small space
that they use on the SVT
for oil pressure and oil temp?
easy to see,
and otherwise wasted space.

Well you can't see in the picture's because of the wheel but that space is where my boost controller now lives.  I cut out the back of the little coin tray and slide it in.

nice.
are you going with glovebox mounted gauges
rather than the usual driver's-side window tree
to keep it all more low profile?

Yes, that is my plan.  I want to keep things on the D.L. so I can scare the shit out of unsuspecting people.

Well when I'm sitting at a light you can't hear anything.  But when I jump on it the sound of the tubo spooling and the air being sucked through the filter are super loud.  So loud in fact that you can't hear the exhaust.

But by the time people hear that it is aready to late.

HAHA, very funny.  My car can't help being a little stinky, that's the price you pay for speed.
