So this morning I go to Dunkin's to get my coffee and all is well. I am leaving the drive-thru and it wraps around a corner. Well I go to come around the corner and there is someone who decided they wanted to go the wrong way through the drive-thru apparently. He was going a lil fast to boot and I turned my wheel to the left so he wouldn't hit me. I felt what I thought was just my rear tire hit the curb but didn't think much of it since I was glad the idiot didnt hit my car. So I go to work, get out and look... DAMN WAS I PISSED!!! My rear drivers side rim is RUINED!!! I don't know how I didnt feel it, and you can tell the damage is all new bc the "rim dust" was all over the place.. but basically the whole edge of my rim is chewed to shit and looks horrible. Goes almost 180 degrees around so its definatly noticable.

So I guess my next question is does anyone know where I can get those rims? These are the stock euro rims's of the european focus. I'll try to post up a pic later if I find one. Any help would be appreciated as my car now has a major eye sore :( Thanks guys...

Well lady, if you really dont have the money, the season is almost over. Gonna be puttin on the winters in what... month? Maybe a little more. The rims and tire are still good.. just look like ass. You can still ride it till the season ends... then just save up the money and hook yoruself up with a new rim this winter :)

Tiff, you didn't catch the plate of that bonehead?  I would have reported it immediately.  Stupid ppl. do not deserve to BREATH!  I would have claimed it on that person's insurance.  Hell, I probably would have let the sonofa* hit me if they were that stupid.

I can't stand this when this happens.  I'm sorry hun.

Thanks Chelly.. that was the thing though, it didn't even feel like my rim hit the curb.. it felt like my tire.. which i have done before ( i seem to be making a habit out of knicking curbs) so I really didnt think anything of it when it happened. I didnt even get to out to look at it till I got to work! I'm a dummy and its my own fault but nothing I can do about it now.

I would have let him hit me. He would have to pay for the damage and if he didn't run he would probably get a ticket by the cops. You could have gotten a new aftermarket front bumper and possible a Fiberglass hood and the headlights of your choosing..

Sorry to hear this happened.

Why are there so many retards out on the road.

Tiff.... Just had a thought. Email the person you got the rims from and see if they have 1 they could sell you. I mean you gat all 4 for inder the price of 1 from Bat Inc.
Its worth a shot.

This might be an option but if I can find em for 150 like people are telling me I can, it wouldnt make sense to pay 125 to fix it plus to ship there and back when I can have a brand new one for slightly more :?

This is where I took my s2 rim to be repaired.  I wasn't blown away, because the machining of the s2 makes it difficult to match to repair, but it is round!

I got a dealer discount because at the time, I was working for Exeter Chevrolet.  I have to wonder if they'd do us a deal?  hmmm.  I'll see what I can work.

If you can get that rim for less than $100 new or slightly used in excellent condition, I say grab it.  That price should incl. shipping I hope.

That $85 is about what it would cost retail for this place in Hampton Falls to do the repair, but roughly $40 if I can get that price to stick.

I'll work on that pricing still for TNE and see if I can lock us in incase of future damage.
