once again I have been bitchslapped by the jet. I started some crazy OT threads that went nuts. nothing against the rules just some live topics on a slow weekend. So finally they get locked for straying too far off topic and then I discover that I cant start new threads or even reply to threads in OT. Then, the admins refuse to tell me whats going on. apparently warning me about whatever I did to piss them off wasnt an option. Fucking bullshit.
Same here. Onl my last post was over a year ago. Funny thing to I am also on a board that is much larger(233,316 members) than FJ and it does not have the same bullshit that FJ has. Guess it might have to do with the average age of the posters/member.
Sence joining this other board I have not been told to use the search, not talk about what I don't know, or any of the other usual lines from FJ..... Guess it comes down to maturity/mentality.
I've never been banned...I've been "warned" and "asked" to remove my link to TF because it linked to a "porn site" or had adult content blah blah blah...but I've been posting a bit lately...just because invites for parties here in TFNE have gone un-read and un-heeded and I don't want to be accused of being "partisand". HA!

Remeber. It's good to have high number of members but next time, take a look at how many posts the majority of the members have... 0 posts.
I've been spanked a few times as have others for posting a Happy Birthday thread for people with 0 posts but they are members too aren't they...?...
FJ and FF have a lot of members listed but I say maybe 20-50 people/members are regular posters on each website. I think people peak their heads in then bolt after they see that most of the posts/threads are crap and full of immaturity.

Just like ours, but we just quietly police as moderators...if you attack someone, you'll be warned. We're a bit more lax here and I've noticed some ppl who come in briefly from other forums tend to mistake other forum's rules for ours and try to correct someone here. Not a bad thing, but not really necessary.
We are open and the feel we like to keep here is that we are a melting pot of personalities and diverse opinion. No one is truly wrong if they have an opinion. How can you be told you're wrong if you're just expressing your belief? The only time I consider somoene "wrong" or out of turn is when they attack another person's belief or opinion personally and name calling. It's tacky IMHO. I know I don't agree with everyone in here, but that's the best part of it. Have an opinion, speak your mind, but "Do Unto Others".

The Jet still exists??? LOL. I haven't posted there in quite some time (over a year ago about the tint G2Gs). I wasn't banned or anything either. I just found that TF is better (yes, I'm bias).
I've told a couple of Jetters about TF but I don't know if they made it over or not. Those of you that went to the LL Bean autocross met Ed with his H Stock Focus. He's a Jetter.

sorry I been gone. just unpacked the computer (moved on monday) They reinstated my OT privelages after I bitched them out about not even giving me a warning. They said I was "on a rampage" lately and my topics were dragging down the image of the forum. (translation: might be costing Ron a nickel in sponsorships or in his private graphics bussiness which he uses the jet to promote) again, why I didnt just get my threads locked and get a warning for breaking the unwritten rule...........
it was just a drunken posting spree, thats not going renegade. (hey if Im the renegade, wheres my chopper and indian friend with the hot white girl?)

My reason why I love it here, over at CF now, they have some punk insulting all the ladies, Ii totally quit on that place, he is allowed 2 do it because the admin is buddies with him, how nice, like his recent thread was "All the Mustang girls are hotter than the Focus girls" and he called one of members fat and stuff and they let it go on, he has not said anything 2 me, but I am not putting up with that or supporting a place that lets that go on. So yeah Pokes, no longer over there. I thank u guys 4 making this place very pleasant and fun!! And of course 4 backing me up in everything and helping me with those psychos.
I use to like CF too but now it's like a mini clique of buddies.
I posted some info and another guy just quotes my post, adds his little blurb that I was right and the guy who asked the question gives credit to the guy who quoted my post... LOL
Also, there was a thread while back on there where they asked if we would like any specific parts made for the Focus that didn't exist or could be better. Many replied but only those who are in the "clique" got their posts answered or even considered. Only thing left there is the FC sponsorship.

Dude that happens 2 me so much, EVERYWHERE!!!! I like answer the damn question and someone else comes in and they do the same answer I gave and then no one even acknowledges what I said, so now it's like fuck it, I am not answering any tech questions at all, only if no one answers them I will. I learned a long time ago that there are those on FJ that are strictly focal jet, and want nothing to do with another board that has G2G's. There have been a few that have trickled over, but the majority of them are "FJ 4 Life", and have no interest in interacting with other Focus owners from another board. Their board is "better", so why should they have to stoop to a lower level?
TX, taint the image of FJ? I think Ron Myers and his rogue moderators took care of that years ago.
You stay low, not many ppl know you, but when the time comes you shine and come out on the top and were never a step behind the "big boys".
Kinda like the Red Sox, every year they do good in the beginning but than back away but only far enough to get the wild card and make it to the playoffs as the last team, than they show there stuff and come out on the top(thins year) or near the top(every other year).
