I agree with the separate accounts. Why is it when you get married you suddenly have to split EVERYTHING. I mean geez yea your together for forever but that doesn't mean you aren't your own person. Nothing wrong with 3 accounts. One joint accounts to hold a portion of both your earners for bills and a rainy day then one yours, and one hers. There is nothing more annoying then having to explain what your buying or clearing it with someone else first. When it comes to bills that hasn't become a problem. We pay evenly according to what we are each bring in. I make more then she does so I handle the large bills (rent, food, electric) she takes the smaller ones (Internet, car insurance, yada yada). And for going out...just depends on who has cash on hand.

Yeah, I punched a baby once, in anger. But in my defense the baby was being kind of a dick.
I agree too with the allowance thing. I told her that before we even talked about a computer. We're trying to figure out an amount that will keep us happy and financially stable.
As for her quitting her job, well, she does plan on getting another one once she starts college. Plus, she has hurt her back from working there and just got perscribed 2 painkillers because of it.
So I guess we'll figure thingds out.
I guess for now this computer will do, but I'm gonna upgrade it instead of buying a new computer. We need a new monitor before this one goes out completely, and I need more RAM (32kb just ain't cuttin it). Plus I want to reboot the SOB because it has the wrong OS on it (Win 98, which is slowing the beast down since it's only got 32kb RAM).
Speakers, new keyboard and mouse, more memory, new monitor... eBay anyone?
