How many of you out there have been promised something only for someone to go back on their word? Does this upset you or do you not care? Let me know how this makes you feel.
Sorry, it's just that a certain someone promised me two damn lousey frkn things and went and forgot about it. Well, to me, it is important. If I say that I promise do something, then I intend to keep my promise. I will tell you up front first if it is possible or not. Don't go and tell me I PROMISE and then don't keep your word. This will PISS ME OFF EVEN MORE. Don't worry TF Peeps, this does not include any of you. This has to pertain to someone else.
Now post and let me know how this makes you feel. As you can tell this pisses me off to no end. Oh and to this certain person I salute you w/ this:

Sure, it makes me feel bad. But it depends on what's at stake. I've broken promises plenty of times. Just a couple of weeks ago, I promised my wife I'd pick up something from the cleaners for her. I didn't intend to break my promise. I just forgot. I think there are many, many degrees of importance. It depends on what was promised...what's at stake.

True Mr. V. But I don't mean like pick something up from the cleaners or forgetting something else, like the cleaners. I mean something as a Promise that can impact one's life. Like what Rick posted.
I forget things plenty of times, but irresponsibility pisses me off. I know what you're talking about and you'll know what I'm talking about when I say it pisses me off when someone says they are going to do something and doesn't and I have to go out of my way to make sure that things happen.
