Well this time I can't take it anymore...most of you know that we developed the Focus 1.8T swap and we sell a FEW Focus products. None of the things I sell even compete with ANY of the other Focus tuners out there, cause ALL of my stuff is custom made and original. So its not like I am competing with them.
I used to have http://www.focus1point8T.com and http://www.dieselgeek.com etc...in my sig just like the one I have here. Well WRCfan tells me to take them ALL out when the last two links are VW parts only and have nothing to do with the damn Focus! I tried to explain my reasoning and he doesn't want to listen of course cause' hes a Nazi ass!!! Yea, yea, RULES RULES..whatever! I can be a real asshole and email him a list 30 + of sn's that have the same kinda stuff in thier sig. But I don't do that, cause I am not that way.
They are so damn hypocritical over there its re damn diculous! (thats a new word, just made it up)

I've recieved the brunt of the FJ monster myself - I was told to take out TeamFocus from my sig because it "Had a link to porn" on it and FJ is a "Family" site.
Like to know why they post pics of chicks that have hardly any clothes on from Car Shows etc?
Anyway - you know you are always welcome here and the more you add TF to your sites, the more we like you to have your links here....Right Rick?

I myself am not a fan of that site so I jsut stay away. I know people, even some from here, post over there with no problems. But as soon as you say something that sometone else doesn't agree with, you're done for! Glad to have you as part of the family here!

A haven't posted over there in quite some time now. I use it for research and info only. I read some of the posts and just say to myself "glad I'm not posting there".
Oh and the whole search thing is ridiculous. First off I don't think it even works right sense they got it back. It comes up with everything and anything it wants to. And as for those saying "use the search", I just want an answer that I know 1/2 the ppl over there already know and can say it in just the same amount of words as 'use the search'.
Sorry for the little rant. I know I started out there but even then I was seeing things I did not like.
I've never been a mamber there. I've researched some subjects there, but it seems kinda huge & impersonal...sorta like Michigan State U. I've also read too many tales of horror & disgust for me to be interested in that site.

Stuff happens.My 2 cents. You put more in to there than you got out of it. There are other sites including MFF where people are in to both VW and Foci. As you know I'm still looking at the TDi swap since getting a TDCi in to Canada is looking like a huge PITA.
If you do a search on focaljet for the word "search" it's remarkable what comes back. I think that if someone asks a question then try and help them out. If there is a thread that might help them out then link to that thread or give them the specific search term to use.
There is a sense of humour here so Enjoy.

Wow, ive been there for 3 years or so, never had a problem with. I still visit and post there too.
Personally i never see anyone throw out the "use the search" card ever, like they used to.
I guess i just ignore the little things and dont let them bother me.
But Cos, it stinks you cant keep your link up there, but again, its wrcfans site, and i guess you gotta follow his rules, even though they may not be enforced througout the board.

Now Now! Enough FJ bashing! I've exchanged emails with Ron and he seems like a nice enough guy. But you have to remember to him FJ is a business and is run as such. He's make a living of it which I have no inkling to do. So I say To each his own! If you don't like it there. You always have TF!

Not that im standing up for anyone, but correct me if im wrong, FJ was one of , if not THE, founding forums for the Ford Focus. They have been around since the beginning, so dont laet a few bad apples on that site, make it look like the whole site is bad.
I dont know about you, but i think FJ deserves a little respect, they are a staple to the Focus Community
Chris, I'll have to agree with you buddy. I used to post on FJ a while back, in fact thats how I met a lot of the people in here. fx3, chelly, chriis, and a few others. Chris has a valit point in saying that they were one of the first, if not THE first focus forum on the web. But I can see other people's points too. I stopped posting there for a while cause I had no puter or internet access, and they apparently shut my account down when came back to post. I also used to notice that peole were a little jumpy with the whole seach thing. Well thats my .02. hope nobody gets offended.

Caleb - try adding the links in your profile. Make that comment in your sig link to your profile. deviant, but it's not blatant advertising.
As for trash talking anyone or any site - I'm against it. It is not productive and that is a detriment to what we want to do here.

Chris, no - that's not the way it is and we won't tolerate it if it excels ignorant levels we'll crack the whip. There are many of us who have had good an bad experiences in many forums. I"m sure, there are those that don't feel TF is the place for them. So be it. We have a great group here and I do hope it will grow. I personally havn't found FJ to be very friendly to me and I've chosen not to participate in there. My choice.
As for rules...we have them in here and you all may find it to be a little more noticable than the last site, but we need to pull in the reigns a little bit.
