ok so i got this gasket problem...the exhaust gaskets blew out in my car....turns out it was a instalation problem i had with the highflo cat....no big deal i'll just run to ford and get some exhaust gaskets.....yeah THEY DONT HAVE ANY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!......what the flyin f*ck do they think?......how am i supposed to rely on a manufacturer when they dont even stock normal parts for my car...whats next?...no more oil filters?....jeeesus crap........the guy told me to go to carquest cause they had better suppliers for that stuff.....I said WHAT?....its your damn car....says FORD focus...not CARQUEST focus....good lord......so i sent an email off to ray at mff hopefully he can help......
go to an exhaust place and just match up something, you are looking for an oval gasket with holes in the ears. It took me a little while of sifting through the different sizes, but I eventually found some that fit for my 2.25" exhaust. I went to Midas.

I tried that...the guy at the exhaust shop scoffed at me....so much for living in a FRIENDLY small town ....the bigger problem is gonna be the header to cat gasket... i asked the guy at carquest about gasket material and he said he didnt sell it.....btw i sent a email off to focus central as per rays suggestion.....
Mine has no gasket between the header and cat. I never got one, and by the time that I realized that I needed one, it was to late to get one. It doesn't leak without one, but when I install my new motor, I am going to try and find one so it is put back together correctly. If I find more than one, I'll snatch one up for you if theyr'e not too expensive. This might not happen for a while though, cause I have to get the $$ together for the new motor.

do the gaskets the easy way. go to an implement, cat, etc., parts dept. and tell them you need exhaust gasket material. comes in a small roll and is fairly thick (alot more so than regular gasket material) and is usually grey in color.
cut to the size needed and bolt together.
