wow this sure is a crazy thread. dissin focuses, integras, hondas. well i can't dis any car cuz i think that every vehicle has its ups and downs. i could bitch all day about my focus or my friends eclipse or any other car. cars match the drivers personality and style. i just enjoy seeing how different cars handle and stuff like that. shit, i rode in a friends buick lesabre and damn, that car is comfy and just plain pimp. i'd custom that shit out if i had the chance. i used to drive a cutlass ciera. damn the seats were like a comfy couch. really nice ride. could of been better if maitenence were done more often.
Okay, so i read the earlier posts and they were dissin the focus which isnt cool cuz you can only dis my focus cuz its got the shitty engine and its falling apart kinda more every day. anyways im just sayin yeah whatever, ive spoken enough words. i'm out for now
I'm amazed by this thread. Who cares what he has to say about the focus. I love my car and it has been very good to me for going on five years now, so the new guy or anyone else can say what they want, makes no nevermind to me.
I have no idea why anyone or any car would want to use a car [even an acura] for a tampon. Frankly, I'm glad this is one place my mind can't get to as yet.
As for acura being a "luxury" line... that's a bit of an over statement isn't it. Sure, it's their higher end car, and they're nice and all, but I don't think I'd go as far as "luxury." Seriously, would you tell your friends you drive a luxury car or a sports car?
I test drove an integra and it handled well and had a solid manual transmission with a shift throw that I'd kill for. It was just too small for my liking. When I found the focus, I couldn't have been happier.
The moral of the story is: say what you want but think about playing nice first, and keep your karma in check.

The insurance on our Civic is just as much as the insurance on our Focus (which is 12 years newer) because Honda's are one of the most stolen cars out there, not because they're worth the same amount (which they aren't).

Acura is the same car as a Honda, different badging, more leather, and maybe some more simulated woodgrain to make tha yuppies feel better about wasting too much money on a "luxury" car. The Japanese know marketing schemes very well, thats why they pawn Acura's off to idiotic, wealthy Americans (or people who want to look wealthy), because they know Americans love excess and enjoy overspending like it's a past-time. Isn't it a Honda Integra in Japan? Case closed. REBADGED. REHASHED. AND RETAHDED. Oh, a few more options for the "luxurious"!.....Might as well change your name to Bobby Trendy. Now just because you 'Claimed' used to own a Focus makes all ofour cars junk, or peices of shit, yet you may have had bad luck and mine and others here are not having bad luck. Wait, I know a guy that bought an Accord and claims it is the biggest piece of crap, got rid of it and now drives a Mercedes-Benz C230 Kompressor and will never buy another japanese car, so it all depends on the car you have and your own personal taste. I think I will leave it at that....
