Umm, Im not sure what you had done, but I went through H&R Block and it cost me only around $40 if I remember correctly. And it looks like all the tax cuts helped me out because my tax return was nearly double what it has been for the last three years or so.

those tax prepares are a scam. unless you own a multinational corporationa nd have numerous shelters set up, you can do it yourself. sorry about your situation man, at least you ahve enough for a pack of rolling papers and a snack.
I usually do my own, but this year I had a penalty to pay on a 401(k) withdrawl and I had 2 states to do (where I moved) so I didn't know how to do them myself.
