was at a g2g last nite and came home today to clouds building up. got the svt in the garage just in time.
Raining like a cow pissin on a flat rock, up to golfball size hail, and now a friggin tornado warning too, and not to mention the high wind warning.
have to go check the sedan when all this quits, its parked out front...
we had that on Friday! pretty much exact same thing! (Although thankfully the hail missed us by a mere 5 miles!).

my buddy who lives 15miles away on the otherhand. he pulled his car into the quanset as the hail hit his place. said he damn neared went deaf waiting for it to end...damn tin buildings....
I've never seen hail storms before, they sound wacky though. I think we get teeny tiny hails every now and again, no bigger than drops of freezing rain really...
I've seen though, in other parts of country, those HUGE hails that damage cars and would kill you if they struck your head, that's insane!
Loco, you have those corrugated tin Quonset huts out in SD too? If my local useless trivia knowledge is right, those originated here in RI, down at Quonset Point's naval base! Funky looking structures...
ARGH! FUCKING STORM!
I just bought a patio set last summer, and the storm we got today (much like the one we had last Friday) knocked it over. It broke the table top completely off of the bottom and knocked out one of the umbrella supports.
I am so freaking pissed off right now!
