had another surgery on thursday (19th) same procedure. apparently I descended another stone that got stuck near the bladder. Didnt have the pain I had last time but instead I was tired all the time, throwing up, cant see straight, depressed, panic attacks. all sorts of stuff. the stone and stent are gone now and most of my problems cleared up. Now I just have constant unbearable headaches. they last all day and all night, pain meds do nothing. I see double sometimes and at the end of the day, I cant even open my eyes or else I suffer greatly for it. going to the doc on thursday about the headaches. prally have a brain tumor the size of my fist. lol.

Good luck on Thursday. This whole renal thing is a pain. I get the stents out on Friday after a month. High level pain can really mess you up for a while and it's exhausting. If you were on morphine long enough then getting straightened out can cause all kinds of crap including the headaches. I had the shakes like a dog craping razor blades. Some people have a tough go of it after lithotrypsy as well.

Sorry to hear your in such rough shape. I didn't realize it was this bad.

Glad to her you got the headache thing figured out, or mostly figured out.

I was gonna mention lay off the O.E. for a while but looks like it might be a bit longer than a while. For some reason I can also no longer drink beer. I can drink it and get it down but after about 1 and 1/2 I get some major stomach pains and gotta run to the can, and do what is normaly done the morning after drinking 3/4 of a keg. But for some reason I can dring hard stuff like it going out of style. And its only beer because I can drink soda, eat salsa and have spicy foods without any pain(unless I eat to fast and than food gets stuck easily, but that anotherwhole probelem).

Hope you get yourself all straightened out and good luck on getting the new job.

Wow Remi - what a mess

I was going to mention go get checked for an infection with those headaches.

Mind you, I'm the resident guru of renal problems though I've thankfully never experienced the pain of a stone.

There are many reasons to avoid malt beverages when you've had stones - They can actually contribute to them. so can tea and other phosphorus filled beverages and foods.  Brown colas are very bad for them as well.

You need to consume more Cranberry my friend.

no, I need to sell my right kidney. It sucks but if you need one to live, I think its acceptable.

no sinus infection. Got a bunch of allergy pills. Also got an appointment to get scoped by the gastroenterologist. I have ulcers too, apparently.

tried drinking a beer again today. I thought maybe it would ok now. Took one sip and I felt it hit my stomach like a brick. instant stomach cramps. also changed my personality and made my head spin. that was on one sip. great, have to change my avatar to fucking kool-aid.
