ok so now im getting pissed off at some of the police officers in this near by town. It seems my car (as well as dozens of other cars in this town) have window tint that is a bit too dark. my question is wtf is the big deal?... i mean am i hurting anyone ?...no ....am i endangering anyone?....no ...have my tinted windows caused anyone to hurt mame kill anyone else?....no.....its not as if im runnin through town 20mph over the limit..FFS i am not a criminal....so when you get pulled over by the cops.....dun tell them that you plan on following them around to ensure that they are enforcing the tint laws equally and fairly.....they dun like that...oh and also....dont accuse them of racial profiling via what the car looks like on the outside....(we have a strong asian influence in this very small community...and quite a few of them tune their hondas...)..yeah so i could have handled the stop with a little more grace but i wasnt gonna get a warning these town cops love to write tickets..so i was gonna let em have it....besides i was half a block from the courthouse..went and paid the fine as soon as he let me go.....
yeah....i went to my fathers house after i had it installed....i was nervous to see what he would say(hes a cop in a bigger town). he thought it looked good and not too dark...he also told me that some of the officers had cars that were tinted worse on the drivers windows than mine....but yet they are the ones out there writting tickets and tellin people that they cant have it...wtf?!?!?!.....im gonna stalk some of these cops and take pics of their rides....fuck em...citizens arrest so to speak...sorry bout the anger....im still a bit worked up....
McMINNVILLE, Tenn. - A motorist's decision to stop a deputy for speeding escalated into a series of incidents than ended with his entire family joining him in jail.
Last week, Lance E. Champion, 23, reportedly pulled in behind Deputy Lt. Stan Hillis across from the local jail and told Hillis he had violated the speed limit. By the end of their conversation, Champion was in custody charged with disorderly conduct, resisting arrest and evading arrest.
Champion called his mother, Janice K. Champion, 48, who arrived with her 17-year-old son. The teen allegedly slapped the hand of a deputy who was gesturing for them to leave the area as Lance Champion's vehicle was about to be towed.
"If you strike an officer, you're going to jail 100 percent of the time," said Sheriff Jackie Matheny.
Mrs. Champion was then taken into custody, charged with disorderly conduct and resisting arrest. Officers say she was loud and refused to obey orders.
Her husband Hal Champion, 47, then arrived from church, was shot with a deputy's Taser and taken into custody on similar charges.
All were later freed on bond.
"This is a fine upstanding family," said the Champions' attorney Michael Galligan. "These deputies acted in a harmful and inappropriate manner. We feel their actions violated the law."
Matheny is backing his men: "They have over 40 years of combined experience and excellent work records. They were as surprised by the Champions' conduct as anyone."
