That's good to hear Pokes. You certanily had an easier time than one of my buddies getting Mitsu eclipse gs-t (it's factory turbo). His number 1 rod failed mid-beam and put holes in both sides of the block and punched a fist size hole in the oil pan. It turned out the wastegate was not opening at the set boost and the dealer said that he screwed with it. He didn't and it took for ever to get Mitsu to fix it.
It was probility the fuel pump or something in there to cause an extreame lean condition. If you can find out from ford what caused the problem.

Well that sux about your friend there... honestly i was expecting much more of a fight, but i think they night be scared of little old me
I did ask them what they thought happened. They have no clue. Im going over tonight to pick up a rental and im gonna see if they will keep me informed... and perhaps see if while they have the damn car if they will do that last fuel pump recall. Im already on my like 3rd or 4th but I still dont have the new one. Think for thier sake would be a good idea.

yeah dude, mitsu gives you the horns when you need warrenty work. especially with the GSts and GSXs. I guess they had to fork out too much to take care of all the crankwalkers. lol
