I just spoke with Tom about his Stage 1 Turbo..any thoughts from anyone...it will cost me $4295...
STG1 $2795.00; injectors and a MAF, tune $850.00 (MIC kit) and $650 for install...a little expensive but he does a nice job...I think that will bring around 200 h.p. to the wheels.
Any thoughts or recommendations???

Well I'm sure you know what I'm going to say. IMO Tom's kits are the shit. I know people complane about the price but you don't want to skimp when your turbocharging a non-turbo car. Alot of people have looked at my car and said the set-up looks like a factory turbo kit. I have had no problems with the kit and love the power.
Then again I don't think you should do it, I like having the fastest focus on the site.

Then again I don't think you should do it, I like having the fastest focus on the site.You still may...since the kit I'm looking into (STG 1) is without the intercooler...I have to decide if I can do with less then 10 psi boost and around 200 h.p. at the wheels...or go for the glory...?? I have to drive it daily though...Are you coming up to the April 17 g2g..I'd like to look at your turbo...

i have run on track with tom's turbo svt at vir full...have seen the gps readout of 152 mph...he builds a hell of a system....in 2 years and 16 on track sessions i have only seen him lose about 10 minutes of track time to problems
