So I am have problems starting my svt in the am. A couple of weeks ago my check engine light came on. Checked the codes and found out the o2 sensor was bad. Changed that and still had problems starting. It has been taking a couple of extra cranks to get it going. When it finally catches it will idle very low almost stall out. Than it will idle up to 2000 rpm for about 10 sec than drop down to normal idle. So after changing the o2 sensor I decided to do a tune up. Change the plugs, airfilter, pcv valve and fuel filter. The other day it started hard again and it seems to be sluggish almost like the Dual stage intake is not working right. If anyone has any ideas that I can try that i can try that would be great. It is starting to piss me of to the point I may trade it in

What flash do you have on the SVTF...there was a new on out a while back which was supposed to help with the high idle, hard start...as well as the DSI cable breaking...I have more info at work...I'll post Monday.
Just remembered the flash is the YRFO from Ford.

Another thought is your DSI cable...I don't have the TSB for it...but that's a pretty loud noise you can't miss it...it's covered and I had mine replaced with a new one and no problems afterwards. Intake Problems (Cable) broken: Stand where the fuse box is. Now you see the black manifold, and where the throtle body goes. The cable used to open and close the runners. The line stops inside the circle there and attaches to a plastic knob. The plastic knob brakes. Look or reach down to this location and feel to see if the cable is still attached.
DSI Runner Clip: Problem (intake manifold) There are two seperate issues here. Broken intake manifold runner switch (the plastic piece) and the second is the intake runner actuator or servo. In most cases once the runner switch breaks, the actuator will "burn out".
Here is another one for the transmission...explained like this.. SVTF's can have a rattle in the trans. You can see if yours has it when the car is warm. If cold the idle will be to high and the exhaust will cover the noise. Put the car in neutral. Listen for rattle. Push clutch in if rattle goes away you are a winner. Your prize is TSB 04-12-02!

What he said ^
I'd still get that OASIS report from a dealer. They can tell you all they want that they did something but until you see it on that report it's not official with Ford.
