How cold are you talking about?
The only things that I do are to use gas line anti-freeze, keep the tank topped up to avoid condensation. Sometime in the Fall check the plugs and fuel filter.
Even at -40 it complained but started even when I couldn't plug it in.

Maybe you need the latest PCM reflash. I would take the car to the dealer and tell them the car is experiencing cold weather starting problems, and you want the latest PCM reflash. If you dont already have it, they should do it for you.

Ford has updated the programing on the svtf sevral times.  It should not cost you anything as it is an update to your current programing.  This is assuming that it is the problem.

I live in Maine and don't have the cold package and never had problems...As mentioned, you may need the latest reflash which is free at your local Ford Dealer...

Yup, wont cost ya nuthin :) It's actually a TSB (Technical Sevice Bulletin) from Ford. So your dealer should have the latest one.
